Donnerstag und Freitag war es 10 Grad kühler als zuvor: um 15 Grad mit
seeehr viel Wind und Böen bis zu 70 km/h! Als die Sonne etwas hervorkam ging
ich am Mittag dem Strand entlang joggen während meine Mutter gemütlich
schlenderte und wieder umkehrte als ich zum Beach Apartments Zandvoort (https://www.beachapartments.nl) zurücklief.
On Thursday and Friday it was 10 centigrade cooler than before: around 15 degrees with a looot of wind and gusts of up to 70 km/h! When the sun came out at noon I went for a run along the beach while my mum strolled leisurely and turned back when I jogged back to Beach Apartments Zandvoort (https://www.beachapartments.nl).

Am Nachmittag bewegten wir mein Auto und fuhren die 10 km und 15 Minuten
zur nächsten Stadt: Haarlem. Dort klapperten wir alle Geschäfte ab und fanden neue
tolle und bequeme Kleidung für meine Mutter. : ) Bevor es zurück in unser
Apartment in Zandvoort ging, hatten wir Glück einen Tisch im angesagten Restaurant Specktakel (https://www.specktakel.nl) zu ergattern... und das war es wirklich wert: Einige der
besten Gerichte aller Länder der Welt standen zur Auswahl. Wir entschieden uns
für Mexiko und Spanien - und beides war einfach nur himmlisch! : )
In the afternoon we moved my car and drove the 10 km and 15 minutes to the next city: Haarlem. There we rummaged through all the shops and found new, great and comfortable clothes for my mum. : ) Before we went back to our apartment in Zandvoort, we were lucky to get a table in the trendy restaurant Specktakel (https://www.specktakel.nl)... and it was really worth it: Some of the best dishes from all over the world were on the menu. We decided on Mexico and Spain - and both were just heavenly! : )

Am Freitag Morgen fühlte ich mich ganz und gar nicht frisch... der
starke Wind hatte mich wohl voll erwischt!? - Ob ich zu sehr abwehre und dafür
all meine Kräfte benötige? Ich dachte viel darüber nach, weshalb die Holländer
solch freie, offene, respektvolle und positive Menschen sind... ob der Wind
alles Unnötige wegbläst?? Sie sind sich das raue Wetter gewohnt und wissen,
dass bald alles wieder anders sein kann - also: ganz locker den Kopf runter und
durch! Genau so genoss ich den unfreundlichen Tag mit viel horizontalem Regen
in der warmen Stube oder im Bett... während ich es mir mit viel heissem Tee und
Taschentücher unter der warme Decke bequem machte, bewunderte meine Mutter
meine unzähligen Fotos am PC...

On Friday morning I didn't feel fresh at all... the strong wind must
have caught me flat-footed!? - Do I defend too much and use all my strength therefore?
I thought a lot over why the Dutch are such free, open, respectful and positive
people... whether the wind blows away everything unnecessary? They are used to
the rough weather and know that everything can be different again soon - thus: duck
and through! That's exactly how I enjoyed the unfriendly day with a lot of
horizontal rain in the warm room or bed... while I made myself comfortable
under the warm blanket with a lot of hot tea and handkerchiefs, my mother
admired my countless photos on the PC...
